Adorosa takes our commitment to donation very seriously. Transparency comes above all else, especially when collecting money to help our community. 

Proof of Donation

All receipts for all donations will be located here. As we are a small business, please give us 30 days from the date of donation to post the receipt. If you feel something is incorrect or missing, please contact us using the contact form on our website, or email us at rochestertchotchke@gmail.com.

Who does Adorosa donate to?

​

  • We donate to charities and non-profits that have been carefully vetted by our team. We make sure each organization is reliable, trustworthy, and aligns ethically with our goals.

Is Adorosa sponsored by the charities they donate to?

​

  • Unless otherwise stated, Adorosa is not affiliated with or sponsored by any charities or non-profits that receive our donations. 

 

What specific charities will a purchase benefit?

  • Please check the description of each Blind Box listing to see where our donation will go. Each Blind Box has a different recipient.

What percentage of each purchase will go to charity?

​

  • Please check the description of each Blind Box listing. The amount donated varies per product and line. 

 

 

When does Adorosa donate to a given charity?

​

  • For the inital selling period of each Blind Box product, Adorosa will set aside the listed amount per each Blind Box to donate to the respective charity.
  • The initial selling period for each product constitutes the amount of time until either all Blind Box products sell out, or until Adorosa determines the Blind Box product line should become discounted, whichever comes first. Adorosa reserves all rights to determine the starting and ending dates of each product's initial selling period.
  • Within 30 days of the end of the initial selling period, Adorosa will donate the correct amount to the respective charity.

What proof does Adorosa provide of charitable donations?

​

  • Within 30 days of the donation, Adorosa will publish our charitable donation receipt on this webpage. These results will be publicly available on this website as long as Adorosa remains in business. If at any point Adorosa is unable to maintain this website, a copy of each donation receipt will be kept by our team and can be requested at any time by emailing rochestertchotchke@gmail.com.

Are there any circumstances where Adorosa's charitable products will not donate to charity?

​

  • Any products that advertise charitable donation will abide by its respective charitable donation promise. 
  • In the event a Blind Box product/product line should be discounted, due to the change in proportion of charitable donation, any existing charitable donation promises will be altered. In this instance, alteration constitutes percentage change or total removal, both at the discretion of Adorosa. 
  • Before a charitable donation promise's alteration, Adorosa will publicly announce the specifics of the change a minimum of one week beforehand. Any purchases made during the time period from the announcement to 11:59 pm, EST on the day of the announced change will still reflect and abide by the original donation promise. 
  • As soon as a charitable donation promise is altered, any existing verbiage, marketing, advertisements, and/or accompanying materials referring to previous promises will immediately be altered to reflect the update, as well as including the date of change (if possible). Any materials containing previous promises will also be discontinued.

Are there any circumstances where a charitable donation receipt will not be on Adorosa's website?

​

  • If a receipt is not on our website, it is likely because the donation has not yet taken place within the 30 day period, or the receipt simply hasn't been uploaded during the subsequent 30 day period. If a receipt has not appeared within the 30 day period after donation; or a total of 60 days from the end of the initial selling period, please contact our team using the contact form on our website or by using our email at rochestertchotchke@gmail.com.
